The General...sits there, brooding intently, watching the women re-enact ancient masterpieces. As if each graceful move of an arm or flutter of satin inspires him, elevates him, to plot tactical strategies of similar eloquence.

Thanks, sounds like a great idea!

I'll ask Anh to send preview pages for your BEYOND KABUKI site and JD's site.

She'll probably send it when we get back formt he San Diego rush.
Best,
David

Re: I finished Kabuki: Circle of Blood!
Jul 16, 2004 8:48 am

Thanks Amy!
Really glad you read it and liked it!
Circle of Blood is a great place to start as it lays a good foundation to the other books.

But if you liked that, I can't wait to hear what you'll think of SKIN DEEP, METAMORPHOSIS, and SCARAB. Those volumes really bring the story into a new dimension. Using Circle of Blood as a jump off point, I think they will be a great surprise for you.

Thanks everyone,
for the feedback and comments!

http://www.comicon.com/pulse/

Here's the linke to the preview of it on The Pulse. I think it shows the regular cover and first five pages.

Someone else here can probably post the Maleev cover for you.

There is also an interview and other previe pages posted at Newsarama.com right now. Maybe the Maleev cover too?

In stores next Wednesday July 21!

All good suggestions, and the Invisible Man is in some University literature classes.

I read The Blues Eye by Toni Morrison and really enjoyed it. It was my girlfriend's and I read it on the plane.

Letting you know that I will be at the Con Wednesday thru Sunday. Kabuki #1 ships this wednesday, so you are welcome to pick it up at your store and bring it to the con to get signed.

I'll have the entire collection of Kabuki trades and Hardcovers.
I will have original art pages of Daredevil, Echo, Kabuki and Scarab available.

I will have a Kabuki booth in the back row of the Image Island booths.
Andy Lee and NYC Mech will be right beside me. And Brian Bendis will be camped out with me in between his panels.

Please feel welcome to stop by and let me know you are from this board
