Unnamed Marvel Project Unaffected |
After DC announced an exclusive contract with artist Josh Middleton, David Mack explained that the Mr. Middleton's DC contract would not affect his upcoming Marvel project.
I wasn't pitching the project. It is a very high profile project that Marvel specifically asked me to write.
There were several artists that they suggested and discussed. And with Middleton leaving NYX, it looked like he would be free to do this, and that it was something he was interested in. We had several long creative dicussions about it on the phone, and at one point it looked like editorial had approved him as the artist.
I can't speak for Josh or for editorial on what they discussed.
I'll keep you updated when I am at liberty to discuss more about it, the artist, title, and release.
It is a BIG roller coaster of a story! |
