||Zedura Ė Now, as I mentioned, a lot of people know you from your work on Powers, so letís talk about that a bit. Everyone in the comic book industry dreams of a project that really helps them get a foothold and, well, pays the bills, enabling them to work on other projects. How did you and BMB first meet up?
Mike Oeming Ė I met Brian Bendis and David Mack at the same time- we were at Claudís Comics in PA. It was seeing their work on AKA Goldfish and Kabuki that made me really want to jump into the creator owned world. At that point I had worked on DD, Justice League, Judge Dredd, Foot Soldiers and worked here and there at the big companies. Not only did their work strike me, but so did they as people; we immediately became friends. David and I had our first wrestling match that night and he gave me a black eye. Not joking. We used to wrestle all the time, much the fright of on lookers as David would swing me around the room - weíve moved on to arm wrestling where we are 50/50... I think we should leave it there before one of us gets hurt, we ainít so young as when we met about 15 years ago.
