Three Writing Projects & Singing at a Party |
 |
From David Mack: |
 |
After Thanksgiving at Bendis' with Oeming and Taki and Valentino and the families, we really perfected our MOB teamwork on Rock Band! Ha!
Just came back from Powell's books again today. Bendis and I hit Excaliber comics today.
I had posted some of the things we did on the MOB Thanksgiving thread and had a little open advice bulletin on myspace where people were suggesting things to do.
Been doing plenty of writing work here with Bendis (I'm working on 3 writing projects at the moment). Had a great lunch and talk with Chuck Palahniuk yesterday, and Oeming is coming back from Seattle for the weekend for some more plans. Most of all it was been great to catch up with my close friends and really spend some extra time here working with them. |

Also, David Mack has kindly reported that a photo of himself singing with Taki Soma at sculptor Randy Bowen's birthday party was posted to his MySpace page.

J.M. DeMatteis Plugs Kabuki |
 |
From the blog of J.M. DeMatteis: |
 |
I don’t really follow that many current comics, but I’m a big fan of Tom DeFalco’s Spider-Girl, Joe Casey’s Godland and David Mack's Kabuki. More often than not, though, when it’s time to read something, I’d rather read a book. I spend most of my day deep into comics and comics-related worlds and it’s important to shift gears. |
