David Mack Offering Sketches at CAPE |
 |
From David Mack: |

I'm looking forward to CAPE!
I'll see you there, and I'll be happy to do sketches.
Thanks to everyone here for looking forward to this collection. My feeling is that [Kabuki: The Alchemy] is the best work I've ever done as writer and artist. And with it being my focus for the last few years, I'm very much looking forward to having it collected. |
David Mack on Kabuki: The Alchemy Sketches |

...I'll probably switch it up and do some images from the characters in the issue. Maybe most will be Kabuki, and some Akemi, and some M.C. Square, and some of them as their Noh Land characters, etc. Maybe little sketches of moments from the story?
Not sure exactly, but I'll make all the sketches fun.
I'm happy that Marvel was able to get the prices on these so low. I've done the limited edition of 500 on all the previous Hardcovers, and they've all sold out.
And the price point on this one is a big discount as to what I thought it would have to be. So I'm thinking if you want the limited edition to order it ahead of time. I think they'll go quick.
And I'll make each sketch special. |
