|David Mack recently announced: "I'm sending Kabuki #8 off right now, and then will go right into writing some Marvel stuff before jumping into the next Kabuki, and probably doing some covers too." Mr. Mack later added: "I'm psyched for NYC. I haven't done a con since Sept. and this is the longest I've went between cons for over a decade. Really looking forward to it."|

||David Mack, creator of Kabuki and writer of the Eisner nominated run on Marvel's Daredevil, has penned the sixth installment of Zenescope Entertainment's Se7en. The series focuses on the back-story of John Doe, the villain played by Kevin Spacey in the New Line Cinema film. Each issue in the series tackles one of the seven deadly sins, with David Mack fielding Envy.
"Writing from the POV of a psychopath came incredibly natural to me," says Mack. Artist "Leif Jones, who I've been meaning to work with for 10 years," brings his unique skills to the table for the penultimate chapter.

|When asked if he was credited with the creation of Echo by HiddenRobot.com webmaster Tim Daniel, David Mack replied: "Yeah. [Marvel Editor-in-Chief] Joe Q. asked me to create a new character in our DD story. I sent him some sketches of her, etc. with the script. I have some Marvel paperwork that credits me with her creation, etc."|
