David Mack Confirms Dragon*Con Appearance |
|
Thanks to Chad Blevins for reporting the David Mack posted the following message about his upcoming Dragon*Con appearance: |
|
Hi Magenta and friends,
I really, really, really want to go back to Toronto again and wanted to do this show.
Unfortunately, when I agreed to do it, I didn't know it had changed its date to the date of Dragon*Con, which I had already previously agreed to attend.
And Andy Lee has always been my co-ride to this show, and when he realized it was the same date as Atlanta Dragon*Con, he realized he was definitely doing Dragon*Con as he lives in Atlanta.
It was great to hear that you were looking forward to seeing me in Toronto, so I really want to return, and I hope to do so next year. This show is a huge show and incredibly busy and fun and I was looking forward to signing in Toronto with Bendis again.
During the Chicago show, I talked to Aman, who runs the Expo, and discussed it with him before announcing anything publicly. I apologize for the double-booking, and I hope to attend next year if possible. |

Dedicated to saving and protecting a world that fears and reviles him, the mutant superhero Wolverine - also known as Logan - is a stranger to himself, his elusive past revealed to him only in the briefest flashes of memory. So when a photograph of a Canadian veteran of World War II conjures up half-formed
images of violence, blood, and pain, Logan sets out on a search for answers that leads him to a startling realization: he was once a prisoner of war at a Nazi concentration camp.
But there's more to the story. During his time as a POW, Logan was experimented on by a ruthless Nazi scientist named Wolfgang von Strucker, who was obsessed with unlocking the secrets of Logan's mutant healing factor. And what Logan doesn't know is that the scientist is still at large, having extended his lifespan thanks to those very experiments. In spite of his advanced age, von Strucker continues to thirst for true immortality - and when he finds out that Logan is alive, he'll stop at nothing to finish what he started sixty years earlier...

Expanded Description of Wolverine: Road of Bones |
|
SimonSays.com has posted an expanded description of Wolverine: Road of Bones: |
|
He has a past shrouded in mystery. A skeleton sheathed in indestructible metal. Unbreakable claws that can cut through almost anything. And a "mutant healing factor" that can mend virtually any wound.
His friends call him Logan. The X-Men call him Wolverine.
While visiting Japan, Logan is recruited to recover a stolen experimental drug, one that has the potential to be a true miracle cure for all human disease -- or a sadistic means of enslaving the world. With every hour bringing mankind closer to tragedy, Logan embarks on a daring mission to identify the thieves and thwart their terrifying agenda.
From the back alleys of Tokyo to the smugglers' coves of Brazil, from the opulent palaces of St. Petersburg to the war-torn villages of Africa, Logan's quest takes him from one deadly setting to the next. But his desperate last stand will test the limits of his abilities -- and his courage -- like never before. |
