Contents of the Fourth Daredevil Hardcover Change

According to Amazon.com, the story arcs in the fourth Daredevil hardcover, which is slated for release in September, were changed from Wake Up and Echo to King of Hell's Kitchen and The Widow.

Lying in the Gutters' Rumor Awards

A photo of David Mack dancing at Wizard World Chicago 2004 was nominated as one of the Visuals of the Year at Lying the Gutters. Also, columnist Rich Johnston noted in the Rumor of the Year Award section: "While the Eradication of Marvel was in full swing, Bendis moved Powers to Marvel taking Kabuki with it, and setting up Icon to tell tales of monkey sex. Thankfully, you could only tell it was a Marvel comic if you looked really carefully."

Mack & Kabuki Mentioned in Icon Imprint Rumors

	There’s word going around that Marvel’s Icon imprint isn’t the exclusive club many thought it would be. Apparently there have been some casual offers made to creators, inquiring if they would be interested in bringing their creator owned books to Marvel. Surprisingly, a number of creators have turned them down. Why? For starters, the ancillary rights (video games, movies, and so on) are in some cases more profitable than the comics themselves, and some creators don’t want to risk having to share those rights with Marvel. Though they may be worrying over nothing. It’s believed that Marvel’s Icon contracts are similar to Image’s deal, but that hasn’t stopped some creators from being wary. Then there’s the issue of content. As in what’s allowed in the books. While Brian Bendis and David Mack appear to have no complaints, others just don’t want to deal with Marvel’s editorial department.

San Diego Comic Con Hotel Reservations

Hotel reservations will open on January 12 for the San Diego Comic Con (July 13-17), which David Mack will likely attend.
