Re: Fight Club... the Video Game?!

After you realize that you are fighting yourself, does only one player appear on the screen?

I just might!

Bendis, Andy Lee, and I have just confimed a signing in Portland for the Portland convention on October 10 2004. Hope to see all our Portland fans there.

Hopefully they will license it from me.

Re: Will David Mack bring action back to ultimate xmen?
Dec 11, 2003 8:45 pm

My X-men are all about action. I'll be writing the new Kabuki series which will be very philosophical and psychological. So the X-men will be a completely different and contrasting writing experience, with non stop action and me and Finch playing with and busting up all of Marvel toys.

Glad you are digging Kabuki!

Hopefully I will have lots more Kabuki issues out in time for the Portland show. And a big oversized David Mack/Kabuki art book from Image.

Andy Lee's Sam and Twitch stuff should be out by then. And maybe Brian will even have some new issues of his own work

It is going to be a great time in Portland! Hopefully Oeming can come too.

Plenty of time to prepare for it.

JJ,
I think you are a kind and sensitive good hearted man. And people like you.

And you posted a really nice thread about your experience reading Kabuki for the first time. So that counts a lot in my book. And you've mentioned on two occasions a very insightful response to our DD Wake Up story and how you related it to your children. And it was one of the most touching responses to the story I've recieved.

And when I spoke to you at Dallas, you and your wife were very lovely and personable.

And people like you.

Your fan,
David

I will be happy to hug you. Or you can consider this an e-hug. Congratulations on your 500th post!

Yes, e-hugs for everyone...

This is my 90th post. I feel a good sense of accomplishement. But not as much as I did on my 69th post. Because it fell on a day that made me realize how appropriate it was. I really began to pause and marvel at the magic of coincidence.

What a great suggestion! I'm 100% behind it.

Mark, great call on giving the Kabuki trades as gifts! Thanks for that. I highly recommend this kind of gift giving. And I'm glad you are digging KABUKI Circle of Blood!

Kindest regards,
David

Hey Nap,
By the way, I'm not wearing "gloves" in that photo. My right hand is wrapped because my thumb was broken at that time.

And all my muscles in my right hand ripped. But it all healed up just fine. Only a little bigger than before.

Hey Murdock's Girl,
Noble did ask me on your behalf to add a drawing to the anthology. So props to him, but I been so busy, i forgot. What is time frame, and subject matter for it?

Thanks for your kind words and interest. I'm glad you like my DD stuff.
I'm curious if you have read any of the Kabuki stuff?

Sorry, haven't been around for a few days, and not up on the anthology info yet. Give me the scoop, and I'll try to do my part.

Merry Huggymas and huggy new year,
David
