Home Production Notes Kabuki Sickle

Chris Myers (October 1, 2004):
According to Chris Myers of Diamond Select Toys, the Kabuki sickle does not have a release date yet.

David Mack (September 18, 2004):
The sickles should be in one of the upcoming Previews catalogues!
I have one that I sometimes take to cons for display.
It should be out soon.
Looks amazing. And the handle unscrews to reveal a length of chain just like in the book. I think it is going to retail somewhere between $100-$150.

David Mack (May 13, 2004):
The Kabuki Sickle Replica is still a go. Glad you are looking forward to it! It will be out this year for sure. Diamond Select just wanted to wait until the new Kabuki series started before they release it.

It will be in one of the next couple Diamond Previews catalogs.

David Mack (December 15, 2003):
Diamond decided to resolicit the Sickle for 2004, so they can offer it when the new Kabuki series Kabuki: The Alchemy is in full swing.

David Mack in a Comicon.com interview (July 8, 2003):
And when the new Kabuki series comes out, Diamond Select will be making all the new Kabuki action figures starting with Scarab and then Siamese and the rest. At that time they will also be offering the replica of the Kabuki Sickle.

Previews (September 2002):
According to the September 2002 issue of Previews, both versions of the Kabuki sickle (regular: MAY022992 & limited edition: MAY022989) were cancelled by Diamond Select Toys.

Previews (May 2002):
Page 431 of the May 2002 issue of Previews included an advertisement for the Kabuki sickle, which was also spotlighted on the month's Previews poster. The advertisement was created by Whitney Camden of Diamond Select Toys.

Previews (May 2002):
Below is the solicitation for the Kabuki sickle:
