In a former life, I worked in New York as a detective. I once worked with the Powers division as a consultant. I saw some weird stuff. And then I got out.

KABUKI POLL!! (to everyone)
WED, 11/1/00, 5:52 a.m. - In Response To: Re: KABUKI POLL!! (Miss Fumiko)

Just wanted to say that I am very encouraged and appreciateive of all of these responses. Everyone has put forth some truly personal, insightful, and brilliant perspectives. It is very enriching to me to hear these personal accounts. I'm tempted to try to include these in some future publication as they are so interesting in combining both analysis and intuitive emotion.

Re: Chicago '01
SUN, 11/5/00, 3:17 a.m. - In Response To: Chicago '01 (link)
I know this is waaaaay in advance, but I was wondering if you regularly attend wizardworld in chicago? I saw you in 98 and 99 but didn't make it this year and was seriously bummed. Ass-kissing aside, you were the most friendly creator I'd met and would love to see you again.

P.S.
Any more statues or figures in the near future?

I do plan to be there in 2001. I've attended the Chicago con for the last eight years and hope to attend each year in the foreseable future.

There are plans to release more Kabuki action figures (the rest of the Noh). And maybe statues or busts of the other Noh too.

Currently a life size Kabuki Mask is being finished and should be available early next year. I plan to release a mask of each character and a life size metal replica of Kabuki's sickle (complete with hidden chain in hollow handle) is also planned for 2001 release.

Thanks for the kind words, and I'll see you at the next Chicago show. I will be at Mid-Ohio con at the end of this month.
