Mid-Ohio Convention Appearance in October

According to the Mid-Ohio Con website, David Mack is scheduled to appear at the show, which will be held in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, October 4 (10 am to 6 pm) and Sunday, October 5 (10 am to 5 pm).

David Mack Recommends Two Books
After reading The Boy Who Made Silence writer and artist Josh Hagler's post about book recommendations, David Mack replied:
	Josh, I'm a Leonard Cohen admirer, too. I recommend a recent collection of his poetry called The Book of Longing. Also I just finished a book by Daniel Quinn called If They Give You Lined Paper, Write Sideways. It is a discussion with a reader and about his though process as a sort of outsider anthropologists of humans' behavior and history. Very thought-provoking. I'll follow-up with some other recent reads soon.
