Silver Bullet Comics Assets Seized

Newsarama.com reported that the assets of SilverBulletComics.com, who have been mentioned in the Spotlight section, were seized for "nonpayment of North Carolina taxes" and were scheduled to be sold at auction on October 8. If you are waiting for an order to be fulfilled and your credit card has been charged, you may need to contact your credit card company and ask for a refund.

In his latest email newsletter, Mike Oeming announced that he will appear at a New York City comic book convention on Sunday, October 28 from 9 am to 4 pm that will be held at the Holiday Inn Ballroom in New York City, New York. Also, Mr. Oeming noted: "[Powers] issue 28 is well in the can and I'm onto the next issue! The Powers Handbook/Encyclopedia looks amazing now that it's colored and the new trade paperback Powers Cosmic is out! [Mice Templar] issue 2 is at the printer and issue 3 is coming along nicely!
