Talked to David Mack finally last night - we were exchanging messages for a couple of days. What a nice guy. Super, super talented. He has some new and different things coming out in the next few months. If you are not already onto his work, google Kabuki and see what he’s about. He asked me one question about work and I blew my mouth off for 45 minutes telling him how great the library conferences are for graphic novel creators/publishers, and how important the librarians are and why he should attend the shows. I’m a big believer in the libraries... they care about books, not block-busters. They really do want what you want in the library. Why pay $8 to $25 for everything you read when you can go to the library and read it for free? ...oh crap! What am I saying?! Okay, time to sign off for now. Clearly I’ve lost my mind and need more Dr. Pepper. |

I'm grateful. So far it looks like most is for Bill Sienkiewicz and [Mike] Allred. With a lot of interest in [Michael] Gaydos, too.
