David Mack & Projects Mentioned in Bendis Interview
In part two of Wordballoon.com's interview, Brian Michael Bendis cited Wake Up as his favorite Daredevil storyline since it was his first writing job at Marvel and he had the opportunity to work with David Mack (7m:41s to 8m04s). Also, the idea of Echo, would would later adopt the name Ronin, joining the New Avengers was the idea of Brian Michael Bendis and Joe Quesada. However, before including Echo in his story, Mr. Bendis asked David Mack for permission to use the her due to his involvement with the character (8m:36s to 9m57s). While discussing the Alias Omnibus, Mr. Bendis revealed that the 40-50 pages of extras would include interviews and anything Alias-related, including an issue called What If Jessica Jones Joined the Avengers?, and noted that the collection may include an "early, early draft" for the series, which was titled Marvel, Inc. (24m:22s to 25m:32s).
