Ronin Studios' Hurricane Katrina Charity Book |
|
Thomas Mauer, who is the editor of Ronin Studios' Hope: New Orleans, a book that is designed to raise funds for the survivors of Hurricane Katrina, has kindly shared the following information about the project: |
|
The book's nearing the end of the pencils stage and David Mack's cover isn't in yet, so I guess it's a little bit early to show anything at this point. We're aiming for a release in early 2006. The book will have roughly 200 pages. Price point is to be determined when we get the final numbers on printing costs. |

Thank you all for your kind support and attention this year.
We are very excited about Saturday night (October 15th)! We hope to see many of our old friends and many of our new friends.
I have some details to share with you about the show:
· The 4th Annual Tori Amos Tribute Show/RAINN Benefit will be held at the Bosendorfer Hall at Ruggero Piano in Raleigh, NC. Directions can be found at www.toritribute.com.
·This year's show is free admission...we suggest a $10 donation, but anything is great. We know there are many worthy and exceptional causes out there vying for your charity dollar. If you've already spent your gift-giving budget, please don't let that stop you from attending the show.
· We will be serving complimentary wine and crackers. We ask that you drink responsibly, and be prepared to show ID if you want to partake. We must keep all beverages and snacks within the concert hall, so please be understanding with our hospitality staff.
· This year's Event Program has directions to the "305 South" venue where the Sunday "Visiting Angels" show will be held. These shows are always a great treat! See the artists play their own songs, shop at the Electric Blender (the vintage store that used to be the "Untidy Museum" you might remember from last year), and enjoy a lazy day with us.
· Once again, our event has been completely ignored by the local press, despite our early and diligent efforts to provide the press with proper information. If you can, please pass this newsletter along.
· We'll start promptly at 8 PM. Doors will open at 7. Please come early, and take some time to soak in the awesome art that has been donated for this year's event.
Thanks for helping us make this year's show a success. See you Saturday! |
