Miraculously, the medics bring me back. But part of me felt like it did not belong in this world. Either part of me was left on the other side, or I brought a part of my mother back with me.

Thanks for the #3 feedback, everyone!

Looking forward to everyone's response to it.
And good to see your speculations and thoughts on this issue and the series!

Best,
David

And Happy New Year!

Ya, this was a fun one. I enjoyed it, but even moreso after a subsequent reading. The gag with the grey aliens still makes me wince...

Really, for me the most moving part was the airplane meeting and dialogue exchange. For some reason it made me feel a little sad, maybe because it brought back fond memories of the times I've met David and Ann together. And other couples that have impacted my consciousness somehow. >sigh< I need to find a girlfriend... the search continues!

So... you think the two travellers on the plane will hook up?

I'll be at Wondercon San Fran this Feb...
SAT, 1/15/05, 7:33 a.m. - In Response To: Wonder Con. after hours. (Christopher Moonlight)
So, Faith (that's my wife) and I are driving up to Wonder Con. Friday, February 18th from LA, and it's just occurred to me that I've never been to the San Francisco venue. We won't get there in time to make the first day, but would love to hang out with comic book people Friday night. Does anyone know where people are gathering after hours? Thanks.
My first time at the show since 2001.
I'll be at the table right next to Brian Bendis.
Andy Lee may be there too.

We'll also be hanging out with Jeff Amano.

My first Bay area signing for a while. Looking forward to seeing all my Bay Area readers again!

Is it okay to use your images for making wallpapers and avatars??
Go for it

Thanks for the interest in my work.

Re: I saw my letter
SAT, 1/15/05, 7:38 a.m. - In Response To: I saw my letter (rgswoohoo)
Hi David

I noticed you did actually include my post in your letter column. I am both honored and tickled. It was a great honor indeed that you would chose to include my words and I was tickled knowing that many would be reading those words as Kabuki was sent to its various destinations. Thank you very much for doing that. I have started reading the Circle of Blood TP. I am disappointed in the binding ( its the paperback). As soon as I opened the cover the binding started to come apart. So now I am trying to be very careful when reading it so the whole thing doesn't fall apart. Otherwise, though; I am enjoying the story. You have definitely come a long way in your art, but you appear to have had a talent for writting a deep story for quite a while. There is so much emotion involved in the story. You make the reader able to FEEL Kabuki's pain and struggle and the void in the absence of her mother. I am enjoying the book and shall continue reading. Diane has all ready ordered the next two trades for me, so those are sitting in my room waiting for me to finish Circle Of Blood. I also purchased a Kabuki bust, one of the 300 with the mask. I am slowly stocking up on Kabuki paraphenalia! On new year's day I went to a comic store in Phoenix and acquired there a copy of Kabuki 1/2 with your signature on it.

Thanks!
Tell Diane I said hello!

What bookstore in Phoenix did you get the signed book from? Was it Atomic Comics? I did a signing there in Oct.
Please stop by and tell them I give my warmest regards!

Thanks for reading!

Please let me know what you think of the other Kabuki books!
