Re: Dreams HC
WED, 1/10/01, 12:59 p.m. - In Response To: Dreams HC (Mr.Johnson)

Any plans yet what you want to include as "bonus material" ? I think the two books alone are a bit thin for a HC... and any price expectations?
Hi Christian!

How is the comic scene in Germany? Have you seen much of the Infinity Published Kabuki?

The new Dreams hardcover won't be just the two books. I'll have to at the very least DOUBLE it in page count. It will also have the Wizard one half (which I always had in mind as a continuation on Dreams) and I want to include a brand new story that continues on it too. And I do want to put a lot of other stuff in this one. THat's why I don't want to solicit it until it is finished. So that the solicitation will say EXACTLY what it includes. I wanted to put some of the original scripts, poems, sketches, photos of some process, a long back story of what the story is behind it (how it relates to Japanese culture, history, idea of Dreams, etc.), and lots more stuff. I have a ton of ideas for it, but I want to put it together before I announce it so it is very clear.

I'm also open to suggestions of what extra stuff people would like to see in it. I could really include a lot with the sketches and process stuff.

Greetings
Christian

BTW, what would the original artwork of Shonen (in Kabuki # 3) cost?

I'd list it at $1500. It is one of the most popular pages from that issue.
