David Mack/Joe Quesada/Jimmy Palmiotti
· The Scoop: The awesome art team of Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti welcomes
David Mack, creator of the critically acclaimed KABUKI, who brings his poetic and thought-provoking writing style to the pages of DAREDEVIL!
· The Story: As Matt Murdock attempts to rebuild his life from the ashes of the
"Guardian Devil" story arc, old friends and new foes arrive! And when a former employee
of Wilson Fisk contacts Matt, claiming to know the secret of the fat man's criminal empire,
a new twist is added to the classic battle between Daredevil and his hated nemesis, the
Kingpin! Can The Man Without Fear solve the riddle of "the promise" before the Kingpin's
newest assassin takes him out? And how does the return of a woman from DD's past fit in
to it all? Plus: the sub-plots from previous issues that have you hooked continue to shock
and delight!
· The Creators: Have no doubts, the art is still scorching as Quesada and Palmiotti
actually get better with each issue! And now writer David Mack launches an epic six-part
storyline that promises to take fans deeper into the world of everyone's favorite blind crime
fighter.
· The Word from David Mack: "The Kingpin is a huge, menacing bad guy in the
Marvel Universe, but people don't just start out saying that they're going to be bad guys. I
want to explore and see what motivates him, what gives him his ambition, and why it's led
him to where he is today. The same holds true with Daredevil. I want to take the most
defining aspects of Daredevil - why he's doing the lawyer aspect, why he's doing the DD
aspect, and see what he hopes to accomplish by both. Safe to say, itıs going to be a very
character-motivated plot." (from Comics Buyer's Guide) [Previews Product Code: MAR990847]
