In a former life, I worked in New York as a detective. I once worked with the Powers division as a consultant. I saw some weird stuff. And then I got out.

The EMC Show Interviews David Mack posted an interview with David Mack, which was recorded during Comicpalooza 2009.

David Mack Attending New York City's MoCCA Festival
David Mack has kindly reported that he is scheduled to attend the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art Festival, which will be held in New York City's 69th Regiment Armory (68 Lexington Avenue - June 6th and 7th from 11 am to 6 pm), and will be signing at Allen Spiegel's booth with Barron Storey, Greg Ruth and Scott Morse.

Becky Cloonan Praises David Mack During Interview
From Graphic NYC:
“I wasn’t sure what I was going to do in college,” Becky Cloonan admits from the lobby area of her Brooklyn studio. “I thought I was going to be an animator, but then I dropped out. I started making mini comics and bringing them to conventions. One of the first people I gave a mini to was David Mack. He read it, and thanked me for it. I was floored, here was a professional creator who I looked up to, and who thought my comic was worthwhile even though it was photocopied. The next year I went to another con, and he remembered me and asked if I made a new book. It was great to feel like you’re part of a community where everyone is pretty cool.”

Visiting New York's Museum of Mordern Art
From David Mack:
Went to the MOMA - it is awesome. Love the exhibit on the 6th floor right now.

That's right, a contest that rewards pain and grief, a brand new low in comics! So in 200 words or less, share your romantic sob story of how your heart was broken by a lover in our comments field here.

The winner will be announced there in the blog section and issue 6 of RAPTURE.

The prize will be an original page from Rapture. If you are the winner, you will be contacted via Myspace message. But seriously, 200 words or less or your entry is disqualified. We bid you farewell for now and ask that you explore the art, updates, and music by Gil Borden and the creepy angels straight from the pages from Rapture!!! We will update often to keep it fun.
