CAPE RAISES $3,000 FOR CHILD'S PLAY

On Friday, May 4th CAPE 3: Bride of CAPE raised $3,000 for Child's Play at the live art show featuring David Mack, Andy Lee, Dave Crosland and others. DJAki rocked the house with the hottest music and kept the artists jamming until the place closed down at 2 A.M. Zeus still has three pieces left from the live art show for sale.
Then on Saturday, May 5th, attendees swarmed CAPE. All 5,000 of the free comics for the day were gone by 1 pm with many of the smaller indie books disappearing by 11 am. Several thousand people attended bringing the attendance in line with last year despite the cloudy skies and scattered rain.
"I love it!" David Mack couldn't contain himself when asked what he thought about CAPE. "It was a lot of fun! It was run magnificently! The people who ran it, and the store, and the readers were wonderful!"
