David Mack Announces New Marvel Stories in Interview |
Thanks to Mike Storniolo for reporting that his interview with David Mack is available at SilverBulletComicBooks.com. When Mr. Storniolo asked if he is working on any Marvel projects, Mr. Mack stated: |
I plan to quite a bit of writing for Marvel after this Kabuki series comes to a close. I can’t discuss details at the moment, but it is something I’m very much looking forward to. I love writing for other artists. Writing Daredevil with Joe Quesada on art was an incredibly exciting adventure. And I’m looking forward to that kind of collaboration on a Marvel character again. |
David Mack Mentioned at IGN |
From IGN.com: |
I suppose it would have been too much to hope that Chiaroscuro had adopted a painted style a la Dave McKean or David Mack, but it would have cemented the book as something truly special. |
Tales About Traveling |
From David Mack: |
Glad you liked Circle and that it got you through that Greyhound ride. I had my share of Greyhound rides years ago and it was something. I remember the connections being late, and spending nights at the Greyhound station with all sorts of characters. |
Noh Mini-Busts Planned & More |
From David Mack: |
I've very much looking forward to the next Kabuki character Clay sculpts. He is planning on completing the Noh line of busts. And I'd love to see him to a full-size Scarab statue. |
Requests for a Kabuki Omnibus |
From David Mack: |
I think an oversize edition that collects several or all of the trades in one volume would be just great.
But I know it would be expensive, too.
If I heard enough of a demand for this, I'd love to accomodate that. |
If a Kabuki collection that includes several trade paperbacks in an oversized format interests you, please let Mr. Mack know on his message board. |
