Standing between Mr. Mack and Anh Tran is local rock star/folk artist Antonio Adams, who is also standing in front of a guitar he painted.
"On the guitar he painted a pictue of himself, Raymond Thunder-Sky, Anh and me," Mr. Mack explained. "And it was being raffled off at the tribute party for donations. I was surpirsed and touched that he included drawings of us on the guitar and tried to win it by buying 100 raffle tickets! All the proceeds went to the Visionaries and Voices studio to help artists with disabilities and support their studio, so it was for a good cause!"
Despite the number of tickets purchased by Mr. Adams, David Mack and Anh Tran won the guitar according to Shawna, who works at the Visionaries and Voices studio.
The studio party also featured a tribute called the Wall of Raymond, which featured a number of pieces created by the studio's artists that were dedicated to Raymond Thunder-Sky, an artist who passed away in October. |
