Joe Quesada Plugs Echo |
Per Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada during a Comicon.com interview: |
A perfect example was David Mack and Echo. After Echo appeared in DD, I had loads of people who wanted to use her in other books, but I felt that Echo was so personal to David that if anyone was to do a sequel to Echo's story it had to be him. He had to fill in the dots with respect to the character and then perhaps after his return to Echo, she could then be set free, so to speak. So, that's what we did, we waited on David for nearly two years and now he's told his Echo story and now she is free and a whole part of the Marvel U. |
Kabuki Sickle "Out Soon" |
From David Mack: |
The sickles should be in one of the upcoming Previews catalogs!
I have one that I sometimes take to cons for display.
It should be out soon.
Looks amazing. And the handle unscrews to reveal a length of chain just like in the book.
I think it is going to retail somewhere between $100-$150. |
Compliments from Neil Gaiman |
From artist Taki Soma (TakiSoma.com): |
BTW, MACK!, I told Neil [Gaiman] that you said 'hello'. He responded by saying that he thought of you as a very friendly and funny guy, and enjoyed your company very much. |
