I really appreciate the positive feedback.
I'm glad that you have enjoyed the Kabuki that you have read so far. Let me know what you think if you get a chance to read the other books.

DM

: In a market dominated by gratuitious silicone breasts and
: violence, Kabuki is intelligent, compelling... and
: sexy.
: She's sexy because she isn't spread across the page like
: a playboy pinup, but an incredibly beautiful person
: who could live and breathe and *exist*...

: She's sexy simply because I want to project the things
: Kabuki projects.

: If she was real, I would admire her.

: Kabuki has the proper, subtle mix of power and
: vulnerability that makes anyone alluring, a balance of
: independence and need. (Which is also the reason I
: like David Bowie and Jonathan Rhys Meyers so much....)

: She's feminine and very human. And Akemi is fascinating.

: Having been introduced to your work through a Scarab
: poster, and reading the color arc, I'm not as familiar
: with the other Noh agents but I've the distinct
: impression that they're each, in their own ways, as
: complex and real as Kabuki.

: It's nice to pick up a comic and learn something reading
: it, as well as be entertained.

: It's nice to pick up a comic that's written by a man who
: understands women... and human beings as a whole.

: It's nice to read comics that are visual literature.

: Thank you for enriching the world of art and
: storytelling. I hope that one day I can create as
: skillfully as you. Until then (and always) you have
: both my respect and appreciation.
