Re: Europe
MON, 10/23/00, 4:45 p.m. - In Response To: European Interviews (Mr.Johnson)

Hi David,
could you tell us the names of the magazines? Perhaps I can buy them somewhere around here... The other interview you mentioned sounds quite interesting, I can't wait! (as with the HC... [;)] )

Any German Con plans for next year already? Will you again be at T3 in Frankfurt sometime next year (cause that's my NEW dealer)?

Take care
Christian

Hi Christian!

I hope you are doing well.
I did some good interviews for German Magazines but I cannot remember the names right now. They are going to send me the issues, so I will tell you then. There is a very good Franco-Belgian Magazine called Eklipse that did an amazing ten or twelve page in depth focus on Kabuki, complete with interview and a lot of art. Arie mentioned this before. He could probably tell you where to find it. It was very well done. I will give you the issue names and numbers of the German Mags as soon as they send them.

I certainly hope to visit my usual stops in Germany next year. I'm not certain yet. It depends on my schedule and if My German Publisher Infinity wants me to sign at conventions.
I think Infinity does a great job on the German Kabuki books. Do you read the Infinity versions or just the American?
How does the translation compare? I think they have the best translater and the production values are the best I have ever seen.

If I do go to Germany next year, I will certainly go to T3 (Terminal Entertainment) in Frankfurt. I love that store. Pleas say hi to Ekki, Wolfgang, Gerhard and the rest of my freinds there. They are very kind. This year I did a nice signing there after the Erlangen Con. They are real pros.

I'd also like to sign at Nic's Comics in Deuseldorf. If you are ever there, tel Nic and Nathalie that I say hello.

Also, I love the Erlangen Con and I hope to be at the next one. But I think that is only every two years, so I guess they don't have it in 2001.

See you.

David
