Kabuki action figures, ???
Aug. 01 2004,03:56
I'm guessing by your post that you don't know about any of the Kabuki aciton figures?
Three Kabuki action figures came out a couple years ago. Sculpted by Clayburn Moore. Kabuki, Kageko (the replacement Kabuki), and a rare version called War Torn Kabuki (which is Kabuki at the end of Circle of Blood, ripped up with the gunshot wounds, and missing figure, etc).
Lots of accesories and details. Removable mask, etc.
ANd the Scarab figure has been in the order catalogues in the last few months and in the current Kabuki issue. It ships in September. The AKEMI figure also ships in September.
Next up is Siamese, and all the rest of the Noh. All offered from Diamond Select.

Hi Brian,
Consider this our "unspoken contract" in writing.
All you have to do is remind me in person, and I'll have no problem
fulfilling my end of the bargain
I enjoyed my Saturday night fever with Mark Millar.
We did a nice Irish River Dance together
The truth of it is that alchohol was not a factor in my actions.
After standing in one spot at a con all day and all weekend long, I had
to get my daily excercise for all my pent up energy
I imagine that if I did drink, it would throw off my coordination.
And we can't have that when we are jumping over tables can we

Hey thanks for the feedback on it!
I'm going to clip that response to use for a letters collumn.
Maybe even make it in Alchemy #2 if there is still room.
What is your city and state, if you don't mind me including that?
Your name in the letters collumn...Another good reason to buy the single
issues!
Thanks to Mack!

I know! I want to answer you in detail, so I'm going to post it
as soon as I send my current book to the printer. Gots to meet them
deadlines!

That sounds great!
Lets's do it. I'd love to work on something with Alex doing the art. Especially a Kabuki project. A story of one of the other operatives. Siamese would be great. And maybe give a fun reason for Brian to be involved.
Something to look forward to in the future, when we fulfill our current commitments!
And I love that Kabuki cover!
I also love the Kabuki (and Hellboy) drawing Alex did for the Indy Hero CLix cover art.
Questions of Kabuki: Circle of Blood,
awesome

I appreciate that comparison, and you are not the only person to suggest
it, but I wasn't so familiar with his work and definiitly did not apply
any of it consciously.
But there is definitely some conscious Jim Steranko influence in those
early issues. And I had always guessed the Day bros were also Steranko
influenced.
