Now that you have the 5th and final chapter, I suggest you re-read all five issues at once to get a fresh perspective of the story.  Please post your feedback here.

Kindest regards,
David

Easy David  :D

I really can't wait to find out what happens at the end of this story.
It's been great to revisit Echo and I hope she will be utilized by others to such effect.

I would feel mad sad, that won't be getting a fix of your original style and flare, but Ultimate X-Men is nearly here and just in case, I ordered a copy of the first Kubaki TPB.  So it should be waiting for me on Thursday at my Comic Shop  :D

Thanks for the great stories

Thanks for taking the innitiative to try the first Kabuki book!
I appreciate you checking out Kabuki.  Please let me know what you think of it :)

I did that story (KABUKI- Circle of Blood) ten years ago when I was 20, so I tend to think the Kabuki books get better as they go.  Metamorphosis is my favorite and the book that probably best presents my work in comics.

But it is probably most effective to start with the very beginning!

Merry Christmas,
David

Hey Mack!

I haven't reread them all as you requested, but on first glance, it was a very nice book.  A little dry, I have to admit.  But your art throughout was fantastic, I especially liked the Scrabble motif thing you had going from a few issues back.  And I think you nailed Wolverine in his appearances, and you should probably lobby JQ to let you take over that book when the stock of Rucka stories runs out.

DD #55 is in my pile for reading this week. I didn't get to it last night since I really need to set some time to read your books. I honestly get lost in each page (in a good way) and it ends up taking me a half hour or more to get through each issue.

I've really enjoyed the arc so far, came back to DD after dropping it a year ago just for Echo's story. My only complaint/criticism would be that #52 felt a bit redundant. Otherwise I have enjoyed the journey through Echo's story and her vision quest a great deal.

On a complete tangent:

What would be a good starting place for someone (me) new to Kabuki? I've found lots of issues here and there, but don't know enough about the book's history to know where to start.

Thanks.

Merry Christmas,
David

Your work has been so rich, vibrant and fullfilling I had to grab your other stuff.
When I get it (wasn't at the shop this week, not everything came in  ), I'll write a review and post it at the Comic Book Bin and let you know.
I hopefully will get through all my books this week and review it.  If not I'll have it done next week  :D

One thing I was wondering, is the new story coming out as one big TPB or will it come out as single issues ???

And if you let me know what else you've written I can go cope it  :D

And if I don't catch you before hand

Have a GREAT Christmas and Fullfilling New Year
Kevin
