Usually I go. If I can find a ride, maybe, but I like the idea of the pool too:)
See you there!

I'm getting in Friday night.
If the party at the Ogre is still going when I get there, I'll try to stop by.

I'll give you a call when I get in.

Gonna be a great show!

And see you at the pool and hot tub too.

Re: Kabuki volume 1 is awesome...

hey all,

I haven't had any problem with the Image paperbacks that I have.
We've sold close to 100,000 volume ones over the years.
So I guess every now and then there may be a glitch.

THIS IS NO PROBLEM FOR YOU.
If you have a faulty copy, just return it to your store, and they can get a replacement from Image at no charge.

If you have any problem with this, let me know, and I will be happy to replace it.

If you bought it from me at a con, next time you see me in person, I will replace it at no charge.

As for the hardcovers...
They are great! They are all numbered on the spine and the spine dressing design matches.
All the future Hardcovers will also match the same spine design.

They all have dust jackets. And the actual hardcover books are embossed with cool designs. A few more production bells and wistles too with the opening end pages.

Thanks for reading the first volume!

You store should have no problem replacing it. If there is a problem, let me know and I'll fix it or get it fixed.

Thanks!

David

Re: Did anyone pick up Mike Allred's Golden Plates?

Good for Mike Allred!
I love his work and I'm glad the book is off to such a good start for him.
And that the future of it looks so positive.

I always like to see such a talent go with his guts and step outside the norm to do what he needs to do.

Craig Thompson also asked Anh to make hand made stuffed animals of his creatures from his books to have at the show!
She just showed it to me today and it is very cool!

Totally like the Craig art, and totally TRAN too!

This is going to be a very fun show.

Anh has lots of her drawings and paintings and mini comics there too.

They are all in print except for volume 1.
The plan is to print more vol 1 Hardcovers when the current printing of the paperback sells through. So maybe 6 months to a year before the volume 1 is back in print in Hardcover form.

All the rest are completely available in hardcover.

Any store can order them at any time.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what shot you mean.

I think my site davidmack.net is fairly up to date. Anh does that one.

The really up to date one is davidmackguide.com run by David Thornton.
He updates that daily with news for every weekday.

Just to be sure, I can tell you with certainty that the vol 2 paperback is fully stocked. Hardcover too.

Vol 1 Hardcover is the only hardcover out of stock.

And all the paperbacks are in stock, except it looks like Diamond just ran out of Kabuki vol 5 (Metamorphosis) my fave of all 6 so far. But there is a good chance stores still have vol 5 in store and I have a few left too. And it should be back in print soon.
