Hey friends!

Thanks for all the great feedback!

Shwicaz,
I'm glad you liked the story so far. After you read the fourth volume, I hope you'll check out the fifth volume called METAMORPHOSIS. Because that is by far my favorited of the collections, and I think it is when I really start to hit my stride with the work. Metamorphosis probably represents my most evolved work as a writer (and artist) in comics.
And the new Kabuki series picks up with Kabuki right where Matamorphosis leaves off.

Image tells me that the new issue of Kabuki will ship in March.
I'll continue to update the exact ship date when I get it.

It was solicited as a six issue, but it may very well be an 8 or 9 issue story.
Akemi and Kabuki are the central characters in it.

Best,
David

Thanks friends,

Circle of Blood is much of the basis for the Kabuki film. So far, the current draft also includes some of the Skin Deep/ Metamorphosis ideas as well.
But the momentum and direct scenes from Circle of Blood is really the driving thrust of it.

Each of the Kabuki books, does read with a different pace and a diffferent approach. Circle of Blood definily has more external action and movement. I think the action becomes more internal and more inside the reader, as the books progress.
