	The Shy Creatures! I just received an actual printed hardcover copy from the printer today! It is real! The book will be in stores in September of this year. And the publisher will have advance copies of it at San Diego Comicon in limited quantities. I've mentioned it before, but if anyone here is interested in it and has any questions, let me know. I had the printing proof at all the cons I did this year, but now I have the actual finished real book. I'm pretty happy with it.

	I got the proof from my children's book: The Shy Creatures. It will ship September 2007. The publisher (Holtzbrinck Publishing's new kids imprint Feiwel & Friends) sent me the printing proof today. It looks very good and has some cool spot laminations designed into the cover jacket. The Shy Creatures is the kids book that originally appeared as the book within a book in Kabuki: The Alchemy #3. Now it is turned into a real life hardcover kids book! And the publisher said they will have a booth at San Diego Comic-Con and have an advance supply of The Shy Creatures to sell at San Diego!

	THE SHY CREATURES is first and then I plan to make INVISIBLE FRIEND and a whole line of kids books! I'm glad you are looking forward to it! Holtzbrinck Publishing should launch their marketing of thier new imprint of kids book next year and give more info soon!

Kabuki Daily webmaster Tim Daniel posted a photo of his daughter wearing a shirt featuring Shy Creatures artwork. While talking about the upcoming Shy Creatures book, David Mack noted: "I'm putting a shot of the new cover I did for it in the new Reflections #7 book." Also, when asked if the book has a release date, Mr. Mack replied: "I believe it is fall of 2007. In roughly one year. I'll let you know when I have the exact date."
