While talking about illustrating New Avengers #39, David Mack noted:
	#1: I never imagined I'd be drawing Skrulls... Just sayin'. Drawing his New Avengers issue is a hoot. I'm wallowing in the Marvelness of it. I used Kirby Dots in Kabuki: The Alchemy #8 when I was drawing in Kirby/Steranko style, with the six panel grid issue, and doing the R. Crumb moments and the Ivan Brunetti and Art Spiegalman riffs.
