Is this an ongoing war on a corrupt power structure? A war of ideas? Not in the sense of The Art of War. But in the sense that this is the War of Art.

LA Appearance on October 19
From David Mack:
I'm signing in Los Angeles at Golden Apple on Wednesday, October 19 (on Melrose).

Giving you a month to see if you can make it.

I hope all the LA peeps on this board will be able to attend.

It was great to see so many of you in Long Beach.

I stop by Golden Apple a lot and they've been great supportors of me for ten years, but this is the FIRST EVER time I am doing a signing there.

They have a complete selection of all of the Kabuki collections.

They have a Bendis and Mack shelf that has all our stuff.

And I'll be bringing 11x17 prints and original art and other books and issues to make available.

I'll sign any of my work at no charge and no limit to how many I sign.

Call Golden Apple for any more details or directions: (323) 658-6047

Hollywood at 771 Melrose Ave. [7-9 pm]

And since Bendis is in town quite a bit, I'm asking him to stop by and sign as well.

Feel welcome to copy and paste this and spread the word.

My only LA signing for the foreseeable future.

Kabuki: The Alchemy #5 Letter Column & Hints
David Mack posted a list of some of the board members whose letters will be printed in the letter column in Kabuki: The Alchemy #5, an issue that will feature Kabuki with new job and receive a "new sort of uniform/costume" according to Mr. Mack. He also stated that "the format in this issue is one I've never done before. And one I've never seen in any book before."

MTV Project in Development
