Comics are a subversive medium capable of great communication and cultural influence. The format affords an individual to voice a singular vision on an international scale under the radar of big business interest and federal regulation.

Seeking Opinions on Reflections Collection
From David Mack:
I appreciate the request for the Reflections collection.

I think it is probably a pretty good idea. I've been waiting until all four 48-page Reflections issues are sold out. And now they just about are. So I was thinking I probably should put a trade paperback collection of them together soon.

I'm thinking to collect all 4 issues, and add another issue's worth into the collection so there is a lot of new stuff as well. But I'd probably keep this regular trade size. Not oversize like the Art of David Mack volumes.

What do you think?

Would anyone else want the Reflections collection?

Have any of you seen the other Reflections books? They show art process, and lots of work outside of Kabuki as well. Anyone have all four of them? Or have most people missed this?

David Mack on Wolverine Rumor
While responding to the Lying in the Gutters rumor that he "has been approached to follow [Mark] Millar on Wolverine," David Mack stated:
But no chance of me drawing anything except Kabuki for the foreseeable future.

Aside from Kabuki, I'll only be writing some things when I have the time and if I think it is the right project.

After reading The Last Ronin's wish "to see Mack snap" and show an extremely violent Wolverine, Mr. Mack responded:
That's what I'd want to see, too.
Non-stop movement and vicious action.
Him just making things happen.
I'd cram all my rage into a Wolvie story. If I was doing it that is. :)
