Dell'otto Interview at X-MenComics.com |
|
Below are excerpts from X-MenComics.com's interview with artist Gabriele Dell'Otto: |
|
X-FAN: How did you first come to draw covers for Marvel Comics?
DELL'OTTO: In 2002, I met up with Kabuki creator and Daredevil artist David Mack at the Festival of Angouleme [in France]. Really friendly guy! David later introduced me to Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada and the rest, as they say, is history!
X-FAN: What would be your dream project to work on?
DELL'OTTO: Do you have to ask? Wolverine, of course! I'd love to do a Wolverine original graphic novel! However, this is not the Marvel project I mentioned earlier. David Mack did propose a Wolverine project to Joe, but no news on this yet... I hope Marvel approves it some day! I can't wait to get my hands dirty on the ol' canucklehead! |
Paintings featuring Echo (one & two), a character created by David Mack in Daredevil, as well as Echo and Wolverine (one & two) were posted to the artist's web site. |
