Re: Questions for Mack
THU, 10/14/04, 10:12 a.m. - In Response To: Questions for Mack (lotus000 (Daniel))

Hi Daniel,
Thanks reading my work and for being so sensitive to the thought that I put into it.
I do put a lot of my own life and considerations into the story, and you are on track with you suggestions about that.
I'm happy to hear that you are getting so much from the books.

I plan to include your post in an upcoming letters collumn if you don't mind.

Kindest regards,
David

Re: thank you
THU, 10/14/04, 10:14 a.m. - In Response To: thank you (Joelle)
I met you at the Portland comic book convention, I was the one who gave you the ink drawings of Kabuki. I just wanted to thank you for all the kind words of encouragement, and all the time you gave me. Thank you so much!
Joelle Jones
Hi Joelle,
I remember you
I meant everything I said.
Feel welcome to post your art on this message board if you like.
And the Bendis board as well.
Thanks for the great art!
Please keep in touch.

THU, 10/14/04, 10:16 a.m. - In Response To: Re: Portland Con Report w/ pics (Jenna)
great pics.
I don't have any pictures, just my scan of the ink sketch Mack did for me (thanks again btw!). I put up my scan online (it's at the very botton of the page) with my little Con 'report'.
Thanks Jenna!
Great to see you again

Best,
David

Re: Yeah I just read it!!!!

Really beautiful issue, I think I liked it even better than the first. I'm reeeeallly hoping Akemi doesn't become a Tyler Durden all of a sudden, but we'll see where this goes.
Love the new (nameless?) character, and the spread with all the prosthetic limbs. Makes me wonder if she worked on Siamese or Ice.... Hmmmm. Can't wait for the next one.

Glad you liked #2.

It has a tottally different pace and structure from #1.
And #3 is going to be QUITE different as well

I think you will get a real kick out of #3.

I don't think you will be dissappointed with the Akemi developments

Thanks for all of the feedback so far.
Best,
DM

Re: Woah did Anh do a minicomic?
FRI, 10/15/04, 2:26 a.m. - In Response To: Woah did Anh do a minicomic? (~Adam)
I noticed the one picture looked like it had a minicomic with the Tranimals art on it called "Sweet Dreams". If it's a mini I'd totally buy it. I love minis.
Yeah

And she's working on a larger story as well.
