Sometime I want to make a museum that displays all the arms and heads missing from the statues in all the other museums. Maybe put the sphinx’s nose there, too.

Re: DM's Heroes artwork on NBC's Today
WED, 10/17/01, 11:35 p.m. - In Response To: DM's Heroes artwork on NBC's Today (David Thornton)

This made my day. It was real nice of Quesada to mention me on the show, and for them to show the art on the screen. I thought the show did a good job of covering this book. Roker actually seemed to know about today's comic books. It sounded like he reads them regularly by his demeaner.

Thanks David Thornton for posting this link. I appreciate it.

The Heroes poster book comes out this week. I hope that everyone picks up some to give to friends. It ALL goes to the charity. And the original art will be auctioned off at Christy's Auction House in New York for the charity as well.

From: http://www.comicon.com
When asked by Roker which piece was his favorite, Quesada singled out David Mack’s centerfold image." There is a slightly abstract piece which is one of the centerfold pieces by David Mack called "An Anatomy of a Hero," Quesada said. "I think everyone has a piece that causes them to tear up when they flip through the book, and that’s the one that really got me."

Re: Ever sell Parts of a Hole pages?
FRI, 10/19/01, 1:12 a.m. - In Response To: Ever sell Parts of a Hole pages? (Kevin Patterson)
I see Circle of Blood pages for sale and was wondering if any of your awesome DD watercolor work might go on the block.
I have sold a lot of the painted DD pages from my four issue art run DD (16-19). Let me know if there are specific pages that you are looking for. The painted pages generally start at 500 and range up to 1500 in price. Just give me page descriptions of the pages you want (and list some alternatives in case they are sold) and Anh or I will get back to you with the price of that page.

The entire issue of 17 is already sold. I still have pages left from the other three issues.
