Hey Mack,

I love your work. I've been reading Kabuki ever since Circle of Blood was first printed. I actually wrote you a letter once and you sent me a personal response along with a sketch. You're awesome.

Anyway, I was wondering if you were still planning to follow-up the Kabuki Agents series with another storyline.  If I recall, Tigerlily was intended to follow Scarab. Are you still going to do this, and, if so, is Rick Mays going to do the art?

`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Thanks for sticking with it over all these years.
The answer to your questions is yes.

Tigerlily is to be the next story that focuses on the other characters besides Kabuki.  And Rick Mays is scheduled to draw it.

But First, KABUKI: The Alchemy is scheduled to begin in January with myself writing and painting it.  Then the Tigerlily series after that.  I intend to continue alternating that way.  I'll do a Kabuki focussed story that I do the art to, then follow that with an agents story that I write lay out with Rick Mays or another artist doing the art, which will give me time to gear up on the art of the next Kabuki focussed story and so on.

Glad you are looking forward to it.
Best,
David

Thanks for the response, David.  I'm definitely looking forward to Kabuki: The Alchemy, and all future Kabuki books.  :)
